Tell Your Story

You do not have to be polished. You do not have to be calm. You do not have to prove anything to anyone here. Just tell me what happened.

Your name is optional. Your story is not. Everything submitted here is read by me โ€” Tracey Kelly, who founded this site after going through two evictions in Jackson County. Your submission will not be shared publicly without your explicit permission. It will be heard. That is the only promise I make.

How This Works โ€” My Policy

This site is built on one thing: trust. So here is exactly how submissions are handled โ€” no fine print.

First name, full name, or leave blank.
Where did this happen?
You can name them. That is your right.
Say everything. What happened, when, who did it, what it cost you โ€” not just in money. Take as much space as you need.
Did you fight it? Did you leave? What happened in court, if anything?
Email or phone. Only used if you want a response โ€” never shared.

Your story was received.

It was read by someone who cares. Thank you for trusting us with it. If you left contact information and asked for a response, you will hear back.

What happens when you submit

Your story comes directly to me โ€” Tracey Kelly, the person who started RVRV after my own evictions in Jackson County. It will be read. It will not be dismissed. It will not be filed and forgotten. If you asked to be heard, you will be heard. If you asked for help finding resources, I will do my best. If you asked for nothing except for this to exist somewhere โ€” it exists. Your story is now part of the record that says this happened, and it was wrong.
